So for the past few months I've been here... working with Linux... supporting researchers... it's pretty cool.

I was happy to be working again - and with what looked at the time to be a sane company.

Alas, it was not meant to be.

Well, after losing three jobs in one year (a layoff, one where they decided to move the work out of the country, and followed by another layoff) it's been a tough ride.

Now I'm working again, with a fancy title (director of IT) and using linux.

Things were never too bad - but it really makes you appreciate having a job... perhaps this one will last longer than 6 months. We shall see.
