Journal: Indoor use of satellite tv dishes

A few web postings from England discuss the possibilities and limitations of satellite dish reception behind windows of various materials including glass.

Small dishes are even sold in part for this purpose (see http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page17.htm). Uses seem to focus on Sky TV, which as far as I know doesn't cover the U.S.

I can't find anything comparable in/for the U.S. Does anyone have positive information on this topic?
