Comment How he probably got caught. (Score 0) 358

He probably left the transmitter on all the time, and had a 5 watt or more transmitter. If he had a smaller, say 100 mw transmitter that he could send out a burst signal when he saw someone texting, or whatever, he may have not gotten caught, and more than likely would not have interfered with the cell tower.

Comment I don't need this. (Score -1) 364

I have a brain, and it can tell me (at least on my regular routes) when there is a "stale" red or green light. I simply use this to calculate the speed I have to go in order to make the lights. It's also easy on my brakes and tires, because I don't have to use them so much. Also, many lights are timed for the speed limit in the area. If you travel the speed limit, you will make many lights. If you speed up to the next light, and/or exceed the speed limit, you will get caught at subsequent red lights. We need drivers with more training, and more brains, NOT more technology!

Comment What positions are they losing? (Score 0) 287

I bet that as with any large corporation, Dell is management heavy, and as usual, they will not get rid of many, if any, management positions. I have seen this in other places, and rather than consolidate upper management positions, getting rid of people making tons of money, they get rid of line workers, who make the least money. Why they do this is beyond me.

No, we have to band together, and BUILD a new party, with a new vision. Not something that is commercially funded like the teabagger party, but more along the lines of something where people actually have a say in things, like the Occupy movement. And if you think that Occupy has went away, think again. They have been doing things under the covers since their physical occupation sites were taken down. If anyone can change things, Occupy can.

Comment CBS News (Score 0) 504

CBS News has become Fox Lite. In recent times they have been instilling more fear in people, and been more opinionated on the right than ever. Once upon a time, they simply reported news. Today they are inserting corporate opinions into the news, and making it seem like they are "reporting." They seldom, if ever have the opposing view, and do not post corrections prominently when they are found to be wrong. Yet another news source that has turned into a mere form of entertainment.
