Apple Keychain on MacOS was foiled by a friend of mine who went in as admin and rm -r -f / and deleted the kernel. It would not boot up. When he reinstalled the OS his keychain was gone for all the settings it had for his passwords.

Changed his Mac address to get more free research documents at MIT's closet. Apple wants to prevent that from happening again. I gave up on MacOS and use GNU/Linux instead. Free software means freedom.

https://www.thefreecountry.com... GNU/COBOL used to be Open COBOL and has been ported to Windows, Linux, MacOSX and others by compiling the source code on them. There is even a COBOL compiler for GCC. COBOL will outlive us all because of this.

Students would be better off learning GNU/Linux on old PCs that would normally be thrown out. This is because Linux is not a resource hog like Windows.
