The moment a machine passes the Turing Test, the test itself will be trivialized. "Yeah it can fake a conversation, but it's not aware that it's having a conversation" or "It can talk but doesn't really understand what it's talking about" and so on. In truth, the field of AI has made huge strides over the last 30 years.
