Please.. it says in the document big and loud "Search committees want to know that you are willing and able to help them make their department more equitable by working to dismantle structures and attitudes that make it more difficult for some students and colleagues to succeed."

tl;dr - They want to *know* that you will be dedicated to the DEI cause before advancing your candidacy. It's that obvious.

You are either living in a bubble or are deliberately gaslighting. Harvard, for example has just 3% of its faculty identify as conservative, as reported by their own Crimson. And that's not by chance. Just consider all the positions that required "diversity statements" as part of any application. Literally an ideological purity test.

I could go on and on but I suspect your views are your identity and are unchanging. And you'll resort to ad hominems to those who disagree, calling them "fools" who couldn't have made it into Harvard.

It's the blatant anti-white racism that is built into Gemini.

Tell Gemini you're proud to be half black? "Oh yay, that's so awesome, I'm so happy for you."
Tell Gemini you're proud to be half white? "Geez, well we're going to need to talk about that problematic attitude."

Just like how it refused to make an image for "a strong white man" but gladly spits them out for "a strong black man."
