Reinsarn's Journal: Ranting inspired by recent events

Why, after months of disuse, have I slipped into non-programming? Is it a lack of willpower, inspiration, talent? I've instead been a veritable media sponge, not contributing my abilities or sharpening my skills. Now I'm stuck in a rut of reading the tripe that makes up today's news, and I'm sick to death of being a bump on a log.

Damn, it feels good to write code, damn fine indeed. Feels like slipping into that bit of subconscious right before you sleep, except without the jarring sense of waking up midway. It's a groove you slip into, but first you have to want to. And I want to write code. I'm tired of standing on the sidelines. Programming is not a spectator sport.
