Journal Journal: Book 1 Chapter 1

It's amazing the number of ideas that get stuffed into your head that end up being bricks when you look inside. Silly ideas such as locked fates, the morality of certain actions, and that life is a prison of sorts. A friend of mine once mentioned that he had come to a conclusion that there are only a few unique soul types in the entire multiverse, and that everyone in reality, past present future, was a derivitive of that. He continued this by stating that everyone he met fell into patterns, and that the only escape from that prison frame was to grow enough to be able to change personalty types. Of course, you're still in a prison then since there are only a few distinct different types, so why bother with the time and energy unless you're a wreck?

I disagree. People are all started from the same base, and molded by every action on the face of the planet. It perserves a balance, which is why in a generally moral & "good" place deep "evil" springs up, and among the "wicked" beacons of "good" tend to spring up. Call it Chaos Theory Child Care, that's the name I came up with over a mug of mead.

So why do I start the story of my life with this conversation? Because that's the dark of the multiverse, no one locks you in life except yourself. The problem of why so many lock themselves into their miserable state is this: thought. And that's why my tale is, my path of thought to free myself from the reason I was born.

So great, if I dislike my life I'll think myself wonderful and get a nap for tomorrow. Not so fast, it's not easy. Most the time people try it before they figure out what they're doing, and if they're lucky they just fail. Otherwise, they end up not getting what they want, and go barmy in the brain.

There's no real guide for how to get the process down, and I still havn't figured it out myself. So, the best way to learn I think is by experience, and so I'll let you in on mine. Consider it a crash course on enlightment. I'm sure Buddah would understand taking a shortcut.
