In the case of sharing MP3s the person having
something forced on them is the owner of the
copyright who loses the right to dispose of
their (intellectual) property. It's striking that
so many posters on slashdot consider an email
address property that spammers are tresspassing on
but refuse to do the same for pieces of music.
