  • Been meaning to stop tracking your journal for a while now. The journals of yours that I don't like have been generally outnumbering the journals that I did like for a while now. (It's very bipolar; there isn't much middle ground.) The gmhowell thing was just the spur to actually taking action.

    I gotta say, though, those message-system clips about realtionship changes fooled me on several occasions, when I opened lots of tabs and forgot what I had been doing. I would sometimes think they were addressed to me

  • Frankly, all that you should have said to GMHowell was "man up."

    That would have been perfect. He's gotta step up and deal with and fix this, or step up and decide that his wife's decision is her own and accept her choice. Either way, he's got to step up and make a decision.

    It's the crap you laced your "man up" comment with that really pissed other people off. Frankly, you're smarter than that. You like pushing peoples' buttons (and most of us enjoy watching with some voyeuristic fetish which borders on be

      Don't you think it makes other people feel bad when they get hassled or embarrassed over the Internets? So why is it that people who track the trolls for second-hand laughs don't mind it when, say, we're beating the crap out of some whacked-out environut, or a neocon, or somebody with a wildly unpopular social opinion? Do they feel less bad than people who happen to be in your little "friends list"?
