Comment How I Enjoy and Use A.I. as a Learning Amateur (Score -1) 150
I am pursuing competence in HTML, CSS and JavaScript through freecodecamp.org because I have off-line browser applications in mind that I want to create. I do not ask A.I. to create such projects for me because I want to understand exactly how the applications work so that I can change them or correct them as needed.
As I study, I frequently ask A.I. what is the correct code and syntax for what I want to do. This helps me avoid wasting time trying to figure out the correct code and syntax. It helps me learn, but I also think that it is a good way to code, and I expect to continue using A.I. even after I am fairly conversant with all the coding that I want to do.
However, I bring a lot of experience with legal research questions for prisoner-rights lawsuits, and I believe that I am able to write questions (prompts) that are more logical and precise than questions written by other amateurs in general.
Obviously, with A.I., the quality and precision of the question is everything, and a cogent question will often lead to a surprisingly cogent and detailed answer.
A professional coder would most likely get better answers, but not necessarily so. I've watched and listened to a few gurus on YouTube, and many of them babble incoherently and change focus like splashing water. I imagine that they have to be part of team to get anything done or to have any goals in life. Can they slow down and ask a terse, focused, and logical question? If so, A.I. could shorten their tasks; but, if not, A.I. might get blamed for wasting their time.
