Looking at the results of this pool thus far, I see: Hilary Clinton 11776 votes / 33% It's sad in this day and age of readily available information that this many sheeple can't see through Hilary like used Neutrogena. She's a thief, murderer, liar and all around dishonest on every imaginable level. It's all documented FACT. It cannot be debated or contested. On the other hand, why is everybody so afraid of Trump? Would it really be that bad to have a president that is actually OF, BY and FOR the people for just once? I just want to see a wildcard one time in my life. Career politicians never keep their promises, they only get rich while the rest of us continue to struggle and our country becomes poorer, less employed and less self sufficient. I would call on my fellow /.'ers to just ask themselves why not take a chance one time in your life and really do something that would be DIFFERENT? Let's break the mold and send a message to all the globalist career politicians that we've had enough of their dominance and trashing of the working classes. If you need more convincing, watch the movies Clinton Cash and Hilary's America, really, get yourself up to speed and learn what the Clinton's are all about before it's too late. In the end, it's your vote and you're entitled to vote for whomever you choose. All I ask is that you understand who you are voting for and what that's going to mean for the greater part of the rest of your lives. You're going to lose most of your 1st & 2nd Amendment rights, Supreme Court seats will completely wreck any semblance of freedom that our constitution represented for all of us. Cheers!

I am using 2 WDTV boxes to access 1 NAS box in my basement so anybody can watch whatever they want from the same share. As I don't do any online streaming or watch anything through the Internet, I've never seen the need to invest in any of the newer technologies. The WDTV works beautifully via network (as my MXQ Android box is so cumbersome via network, I abandoned it). I'd like something newer and more flexible, however, I don't have capital to really invest in any technology when I won't really benefit from it beyond my day-to-day usage.

If anybody has been watching this series, I think most would agree that it has run its course already. I mean, how many episodes do you want to watch them killing zombies and trying to keep them at bay? Let's face it, the people in the series aren't very bright, because if I was living in the south of the USA when this occurred, then I would say that it's quite logical to head for the coast and get out to an island seeing as how zombies haven't mastered the breaststroke or freestyle techniques. There are many small islands in the gulf coast area. They seemingly have cars and fuel for everything else in the series, so why not go get on an island? I liked this series a lot in the beginning, but as it wore on, I have myself bored with it. Honestly, I never even finished the most recent season simply because it's just repetitive with nothing more innovative and exciting in the last couple seasons. Just my 2 cents.

Hi there. Yes, the home screen is what I am referring to (of course), but again, I am annoyed that I can't do this on the iOS though yes, I can change the order, I don't want everything packed from top to bottom on each of my home screens. I guess I could have been more clear there as to what I was referring to, so, sorry for any confusion. I only tossed out a few examples by simply stating that convenience technology that has been around a while aren't implemented by Apple in any sort of timely fashion. Wireless charging is just an example that came to mind where RIM just figured they knew what people wanted in a smartphone more than the public did and refused to change things (for many years) until it was too late with their final launches, that, while nice devices as they were, it was too late for them as everybody had made the shift to Android and iOS based devices not to mention they caved and (publicly) allowed governments the ability to monitor their BBM app when they were threatened to have their services shutdown in the Middle East (I lived in Dubai for 5 years and am all too familiar with that whole fiasco) and that is when everybody I knew jumped from BB to other devices. Cheers!

I am actually surprised how far behind so many curves Apple is and yet people still love it. Take wireless charging, from the last I read, Apple is looking at it for the iPhone 7. I mean, seriously? My Galaxy S4 wirelessly charges. Not to mention the iOS is clunky and not really very nice. I'll give 1 example, I have an iPhone 5s and you can't arrange any given desktop how you want it. Every app icon has to listed from the top and packed up tight from top to bottom. I don't want it that way, I'd like to put the app icons on the screen where I want them (as you can and always have been able to on the Andriod, at least as far back as I started using Android for years). These sorts of slow uptakes in the marketplace might seem trivial and insignificant, but it's also these slow to market changes that killed BlackBerry (i.e. touch screens, virtual keyboards, etc). By the time RIM woke-up, it was too late and they were pushed aside. Just my 2 cents....

Porting Lemmings In 36 Hours 154

An anonymous reader writes "Aaron Ardiri challenged himself to port his classic PalmOS version of Lemmings to the iPhone, Palm Pre, Mac, and Windows. The porting was done using his own dev environment, which creates native C versions of the game. He liveblogged the whole thing, and finished after only 36 hours with an iPhone version and a Palm Pre version awaiting submission, and free versions for Windows and Mac available on his site."

Yes, let's talk about individualism and the debt owed to the labor movement.

Let's talk about a jobs pool. Specifically, let's talk about certain Detroit labor movements that negotiated their way into having thousands of "jobs" paying $30 bucks an hour to sit and do nothing all day. Boy, that sure is good for people, doing crossword puzzles all day long. With benefits.

What a perversion of "labor" movement.

Proponents say "These people would be starving without us!" but what they're really doing is killing the American car industry just like they killed the American steel industry. No company in it's right mind would ever want to locate somewhere they're forced to pay millions for NOTHING.

My own personal experiences with the "labor" movment:

I worked at a company that did trade shows at various convention centers around the country. These convention centers are invariably union staffed.

You can't move furniture, touch a wire, stack boxes, NOTHING - all work must be done by the appropriate union rep/workers. So, you wait all day for 1 line of CAT5 to be run, and the "labor" movment manages to invariably drive staples through it, or crimp it, or leave it exactly where your customers can trip over it. Don't like it? Tough - if you fix it yourself, that generally means you will get abosolutely NOTHING else done for you, if not outright sabotage.

I've also worked at union shops. Let me tell you how they treat people who don't agree with the union - physically assaulted, their cars vandalized, threating phone calls to their wives and children, it never ends.

While working a temp job (6 month contract) I personally had the temerity to change a fucking lightbulb (which requires 2 electrical union guys for what reason?) which ended up with such a debate that I quit early. A lightbulb.

So why exactly are unions a good thing? Let's see - they provide a structure for abuse, a total lack of motivation to do better (seniority rules!), they artificially inflate the cost of product creation, and provide more incentive for companies to outsource or hire illegal immigrant labor.
