I think Larry Summers is completely off base here. I believe we should bring back the $500 and $1000 bill, and retire the $1 bill in place of the $1 coin. I'm also in favor of retiring the penny. Over time with inflation the denomination needs to move up or become worthless, or at least inconvenient to those of us that actually have need for larger denominations.

We went to trade in our 2009 Jetta gasoline car and found out that in the previous month KBB (Kelly Blue Book) http://www.kbb.com/ had dropped the trade in value from $6500 to $4000 in one month from this. It had nothing to do with diesel. I've personally lost $2500 to these assholes and will never buy another VW, let alone a diesel VW.

I DO know. I have been building PC's and installing OEM Windows since the 286 days. Way back then, Windows was a program not an operating system. You used DOS and had complete control over your drive, partitions, memory and installation of selected programs. (Anyone remember DEBUG C:8000) Today, the OEM loads it for you, with multiple sometimes hidden partitions with bloatware they were paid to install with Windows and other exploitable software as the OP stated. It is not the same as just checking NO when they "ask" you to install their software. Most of the time they don't even ask.

But you can't stop the nutjobs from getting guns, mostly illegally. So you either have to eliminate the guns or the nutjobs. Eliminating guns won't help because there's an endless way to kill people even without guns, so you're left with getting rid or the nutjobs as the only option. If cutting the nutjobs off from watching radical videos and communicating with people in their home country is a way to start, I'd be game with #3 and let the other countries come crying to us to get put back in the "trusted zone".

As a VMware customer, I'm sad to see this happen. I can hope that Dell stays "Hands Off" but that's not their style. Twice I've been bitten by a product or service I used acquired by Dell. Twice the product and support suffered and I phased it out. I hope that this time is different, but I doubt it. I guess I'd better brush up on Microsoft's platform. Honestly, I'd probably save some money too.

I've invented a new type of tissue that has an additional fold in it that makes it unique. I call the tissue "Nosies" and paid the NFL $400 million to have them sitting on the announcer desks and in the coaches areas during the games. Now I'm pissed they keep calling them a "Kleenex". Maybe it was a stupid idea to waste that much money promoting a product that is easily interchangeable with the market leader and expect everyone to take notice? While the Surface is a totally different product than an iPad, (I have a Surface Pro 3) the app that the NFL uses probably works the same on either one so to them there is no difference. I wouldn't expect a non technical jock to know. Some dumbass at Microsoft should be fired for screwing this up, but $400 Mil to them is like $5 to you or me, so who cares?
