Mozilla? You should've taken a look at NS Communicator's code.
Now that was scary. I can tell you many people couldn't believe that thing could actually run without crashing after 5 minutes of us. When we launched beta versions, some of us were freaked out to see that people was actually using them.
But we had a lot of fun
