The full analysis - multi-spectral imaging, chemistry, 3-d scanning, history, etc. should be available publicly. And, in the tradition of medieval monks, Arabic scribes, and even artists workshops, produce copies for display while attempting to preserve the original.

Heaven forbid that a scientist would work outside academia...... I have worked with plenty of MS and PhD scientists who were "lured away" from academia to work in industry. Not by billionaires. Turns out there's lots of interesting work outside of academia, and not everyone wants to play the academia political games.

I served at two locales with DoD school systems..... the kids were kids like everywhere. The teachers were teachers like everywhere. The parents, though, had expectations of their children's effort and performance. Not for teachers to give out easy A's, but for their children to work for their grades.

In a prior lifetime I was a military helicopter ground and (occasional) aircrew.... Plenty of exposure to jet fuel and exhaust fumes, lubricants, solvents which probably doesn't explain all increased diagnoses of cancer. Rather than comparing to the general population they should have compared to civilian ground and aircrew. But the good news is that mortality is not increased, but slightly less than the general population.
