Journal R.A.Small's Journal: New Topic 4

I'm really quite surprised that there is no listing for a geometry topic.

If you, like I, think that this would be a good addition to the slashdot community then please consider writinga quick note to Rob, or one of the other capitaines. After all, if they can add one for the iMac surely the study of nature's fundamental forms deserves a section.

  • Geeky, not Nerdy. This is news for Nerds, not Geeks. :P
Now are we talking analytic, euclidean, or non-euclidean? N-space is yummy!
    • Could you elaborate on the difference between Geeky and Nerdy? I would also be interested in hearing more about your experience vis-a-vis the taste of n-space. I have some reports from the field that it resembles that of a baked sweet potatoe with hints of pineapple. Can you confirm this?

To answer your question, my interest are mainly, though by no means limited to the field of non-Euclidian geometry.

      • Ah, the difference between Geeky and Nerdy. Geek [tuxedo.org] vs. Nerd [tuxedo.org]. The main difference is that Nerd is: "annoying misfit" while the Geek is: "A person who has chosen concentration rather than conformity". My interjection was purely comedic however. The connotation would be that a Geek is a specialist and a Nerd is merely a misfit.

And n-space tastes like a burnt-sienna on a cloudy day. This is impossible to properly communicate since knots only form in 3-space and my tounge is tied.

In computing, the mean time to failure keeps getting shorter.
