Oh, hell no. They screwed up and they weren't repentent about it until the ordeal damaged their wallet. No forgiveness here - they knew exactly what they were doing the entire time.
It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
