Submission + - US bombs Doctors Without Borders hospital
Prune writes: According to multiple news sources, US airstrikes partially destroyed a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital in Afghanistan, killing at least nine staff members (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/doctors-without-borders-airstrike-hits-afghan-hospital-killing-3-staffers/2015/10/03/2ed13104-b50a-48ec-9eb9-92db8ee3a876_story.html) and at least 50 overall, including patients, and this after giving its coordinates to US forces multiple times (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/afghanistan/11909123/Kunduz-Nato-investigates-whether-US-air-strike-hit-hospital-latest.html). I'm especially saddened to report this given I had become one of the supporters of this charity after recommendations from Slashdot members in a discussion about choosing charities to donate to a while back.
