First programming course: 1976, in high school. BASIC, had to use a dial-in service and a teletype. Awful. Majored in computer programming for many, many years. Took lots of nasty Pascal courses at University of Southern Mississippi, when I was stationed at Keesler AFB for five long years. Finally graduated with a BS in CS from University of MD. Nearly failed one course that involved Ada and something called a directed graph. I still hate Ada and Pascal. Married another geek named Johnny (believe it or not). Nauseatingly in love and happy after 15 wonderful years. We procreated and our son is a 6'2" football-playing monster. Name Greg. Has a 4.0 in high school. Name ProfessorJoy because I taught computer programming for the USAF, and also taught as an adjunct professor for Colorado Technical University for seven years. I actually enjoy teaching and documentation; please don't hate me.
