Journal Pray_4_Mojo's Journal: Birthday and Midterms 2
This 22nd birthday of mine was my most successful party ever. About 30-40 people showed up. Friends brought friends. I had plenty of alcohol. I, and those who wanted to stick around, drank till 4:30 in the morning. Lisa got really drunk, and her contact lenses fell out, so she was blind and I had to walk her home. Brian made a showing. Vannessa and Dani came, but they all left early. Dara actually showed up to a social function! Amazing. Erin had a fun time. Abby wanted to hook up with Rob, and stole a kiss before he spirited away. I met Becky, who I kinda knew through Adam and Colleen, but I didn't get to talk to her too much because Collen puked. Mav showed up, and I took pictures of him. I have to get them developered and put them on www.christopherwilson.net.
I rocked my networks exam, did okay on ccts and OS. Which is to be expected, seeing as I had no time, thanks to the now 1 week overdue project that valasek and I have. But Cs don't hurt me, so long as I do something to magically turn them into Bs -- like invent the 36 hour day.
Only VLSI is left. Hopefully I can rock this exam.
Tensions around Erin's physical state have been resolved. I feel so much more relaxed during every single part of the day.
I'm writing a children's book. I need someone to illustrate.
A friend of mine who will remain nameless tried to kill himself and committed himself to western psych. I've been worried sick about him. But it looks like they're going to be okay. Gonna get some counciling, gonna go the distance to fight the battle that really matters: The one of mental health. I'm going to try my best to support them as much as I can. They're going to know what true friendship is like.
So life is looking up, except that I'm broke (and that always worries me) and my version of iTunes can't connect to the Apple Store. But other then that, I can't really complain.
Wha? (Score:1)
I find more than slightly shocking that *I* wasn't invited to your party...
