Hmmm...I had to respond on this one. As one of the "female geeks" in computer science, I guess they didn't need to change teaching styles for me. lol
This article was definitely a button pusher. I would say that men and women "work" differently on a general scale...women seem better at multi-tasking and men seem better at focusing on one task at a time; however, this can be disproved over and over by the individual.
The main concern I had with this article is that I have interviewed too many young men AND women coming out of college with computer science degrees who not only don't have a clue about the newer programming languages, but they also don't have any real-time experience with databases and would not even be acceptable to work as tech support staff.
If we are going to start modifying curriculum, I hope we are going to address what is needed to get a job when you graduate...
