The problem is that game developers will still want to develop games for Sony's console system, whatever they come out with. If Sony charges a per game sold fee and a company makes an emulator for that system. Sony still gets their cut of the action. So PC gamers get to play Sony games on home PC boxes and Sony still gets money for it. So whats Sonys problem with this besides the fact that they lose sales of a console? If a developer wants to make games for the PC they would do so, unfortunaly Sony makes them agree that the game they create would be only for their product.
