Journal Pirogoeth's Journal: Charges Against Bryant Dropped 3

And just like that, it's over.

Well, not completely over, as there is still the civil case pending.

They were dropped because the alleged victim decided she didn't want to testify. Is it because she couldn't handle her name being dragged through the mud anymore or is it because she couldn't handle the fact that she was lying through this whole ordeal.

If it's the first and she's been telling the truth all along, I'm a little disappointed because this will just add fuel to the "rich and famous can get away with murder" fire.

If it's the second, then she deserved to have her name tarnished. However, even if he wasn't guilty, I have no respect for Kobe for cheating on his wife as he did.

Hopefully now, ESPN can get back to reporting actual SPORTS news...
