Comment Well, they bought Symantec and see how that went (Score 2) 28

Part of the Symantec deal included the Bluecoat proxy division. We're moving off of that platform, thanks to very poor handling of our account, support contracts. They charge about $20K/year for support on their S-500 platform, however they sent out a notice of what is a P1, P2, P3 issue and what times we could contact them. Paying the additional $200K/year for dedicated TAM did not change this one bit. We also had some license renewal issues, where we had to go through different 3rd party vendors to get a hold of someone at Broadcom to tell us who our new account team was after their takeover. Seems like a messy company that does not have all the plans figured out ahead of time. Staying clear of them going forward, until I hear good things. Sorry, this turned into a rant. So to wrap it up, when you do get a good support tech on the line, they are great.

Imagine this starts out working as planned. This is a huge success, even cake to be had, no lies. And then they expand to cover areas across the US. Everyone is happy and this is awesome. Then one day, a tornado touches down, rips one of this apart, and suddenly we have our own version of Pripyat. At least we can send it the expandable US Marines to assist with cleanup.... oh never mind this ain't Russia. I do hope that it does work out, as it would be a pretty good way to extract the last remaining energy from the waste. It would still have it's own waste, which would still be radioactive, so it's not a complete solution for nuclear waste. But good'ish. Go Science!

Agree. For me, I use my phone as a hotspot for work from time to time, and on average only use about 7-8 GB a month. Early January I used 32 GB, but then I have unlimited data with T-Mobile, so I was streaming Netflix for a few days :-) Now we just need better coverage with better speed, and that will take some time to roll out properly. -P
