I can't wait to see Episode II. I already scored my tickets here in L.A. for a digital theater. Couldn't get opening night, but I did score for the following Saturday afternoon.
I'm anti-RIAA because they steal from artists and are dead set on controlling all forms of channel distribution, without upgrading those said channels.
The MPAA has not done been so heinous. Even though their product, in large part, tends to suck and cater to the herd, I love to see movies in the theater and on DVD. Unlike the dinosaur RIAA, the MPAA did switch consumer formats when the opportunity presented itself, and DVDs have increased my zeal for movies.
And on a side note, I'm no Star Wars freak, but Episode I was a really cool movie. Screw all of you dipsh*ts that try to hammer it because it didn't live up to the hype, or because it wasn't a carbon copy of the first three films. You must be engineers in desiring to be spoon-fed a retread of the same crap you've already seen and experienced. Only an idiot savant/engineer would be stupid enough to let the hype dictate their beliefs or expectations, and then want a heavy dose of the same story with the same characters. What a bunch of jackasses. Yes, Jar-Jar sucked ass, and yes, Lucas' direction was a bit rusty, but the story was cool, and the pod race was pure EPIC Star Wars. It was easily one of the best 5 films released that year, and the only film I saw in the theater 3 times.
So 4 the nay-sayers...DAMN U ALL...DAMN U ALL 2 HELLLLLLLLLLL!!
Bring on AOTC!
