They produce the vaccine in vials with multiple doses in. At the point of vaccination a single dose worth (around 0.3mm usually) is drawn out, mixed with a dilutent (saline solution IIRC around 1.8mm usually) and then injected.
Some vaccines do come in pre dosed syringes - but I imagine mostly for efficiency of production and transport many are not.
Most people appreciate the work of past activitsts - somehow we just don't like activists in the present.
How do you know if someone is vegan?
Just wait, they'll tell you.
That's how you know that person is vegan. You have no idea how many vegans you know who don't feel the need to tell you.
I can't recall the source I'm afraid (It'd be a BBC4 Podcast - "More or Less" or "Inside Science" probably) - but this idea of "60 harvest left" isn't accurate or useful on a global scale.
Some soils are depleted, some are doing really well and some are in between. There's no useful, global scale.
That's not to say our food industry is entirely unsustainable and going to cause us a lot of trouble - just the 60 harvests left bit that's not useful.
You can also eat more/less/differently as per your own body/metabolism/lifestyle to see what works.
My friend has no problems with feeling full, I presume - just like other food - youâ(TM)ll want to try a few brands/options and see what works best for you.
Breeding animals for food is enormously inefficient compared to just eating the plants ourselves. This process aims to take out the step the (~6 months for a chicken or few years for a cow) energy the animal âoewastesâ living/walking/thinking/farting making the production process more efficient (and so more environmentally friendly).
Most meat isnâ(TM)t hand reared on a nice farm, itâ(TM)s produced in factories.
Most of what you poo is dead red blood cells, and other bits of your body which need to be discarded. So Iâ(TM)m afraid even with a pill youâ(TM)ll need to poo.
Huel and similar all meal shakes are already providing similar convenience to people I know. Personally I like spending time preparing and eating but Iâ(TM)m glad people who donâ(TM)t have a healthier alternative to lots of cheese on toast or just eating cereals.
thank you for being the first comment of reason in this thread. I was hurting for society waiting for your comment.
As a cis white male this is not my struggle, but I donâ(TM)t envy the people who have to face the tirade or misunderstanding above.
Last week, after her HP Printer rejected her cartridges, I had a client text me, furious and asking me to disable all Windows updates because she can't live with her computer changing all the time and just wants to get some work done.
Security updates are important - I'm questioning disabling everything else by default.
Unfortunately just because all your friends use Gmail, doesn't mean that Google have a monopoly.
It's a few years old (I couldn't find anything newer), but at least among users who have signed up to mailing lists with Mailchimp Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail were pretty much neck and neck in 2011.

It's a good thing that cows don't eat.
mod points,please!
Vegans aim to minimise their use of animals as far as is practical and possible.
It's not about being perfect, it's about trying to be less abusive by cutting out as many products which cause suffering as possible.
