I translated It's there that she learns of a potentially fatal threat to the NSA's codebreaking supercomputer, TRANSLTR--an unbreakable encryption. to mean that the NSA's TRANSLTR, had an unbreakable encryption, and that she was informed of something threatening it's secrecy. My bad.
