Well I'm not talking about recording a video with actors. I'm talking about creating a video from a blank canvas similar to how you could design something in Maya and animate it. The "art" wouldn't be just the digital file on it's own but rather the whole system with sophisticated customized hardware to showcase it. I'm not too worried about the footage being copied because that happens all the time art with replicas. What will make it unique is it's tie-in with the sophisticated hardware to present on a scale that's not cheaply reproducible. If my potential buyers are people I can convince to spend tens of thousands of dollars for this, then I wouldn't worry about piracy because if they copy it and it makes it out, then they would be responsible for possibly devaluing their purchased art so I figure that they would be reluctant to do so.
