I keep hoping the wonders of genetic engineering will make it possible to breed giant trapdoor spiders. I want one for my front yard. I wonder how many meter readers would get eaten before they came to investigate?

rather than saying we 'are' god of the universe we percieve, i say we create god, from our perceptions and are thus ruled over by our own limited perceptions.
another way to put it is...
in soviet russia, god doesn't create man, man creates god.
but even though i've figured out that perception is 99% of reality, I haven't quite gotten changing my perception down yet.
