Woman Creates 3-D Erotic Book For the Blind 113

Lisa J. Murphy has written an erotic book with tactile images for that special visually impaired porn connoisseur in your life. Tactile Mind contains explicit softcore raised images, along with Braille text and photos. From the article: "A photographer with a certificate in Tactile Graphics from the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Murphy learned to create touchable images of animals for books for visually impaired children. Then she realized that there was a lack of such books for adults only. 'There are no books of tactile pictures of nudes for adults, at least the last time I looked around,' says Murphy. 'We're breaking new ground. Playboy has [an edition with] Braille wording, but there are no pictures.' She says that while we live in a culture saturated with sexual images, the blind have been 'left out.'"

Mega Man 10 Confirmed For WiiWare 104

The upcoming issue of Nintendo Power revealed that Capcom is working on Mega Man 10 for a release via WiiWare sometime in the future. "Like Mega Man 9 (released for WiiWare in 2008), Mega Man 10 remains true to the series's roots with 8-bit-style graphics and sound, and tried-and-true Mega Man gameplay." According to the early look at Nintendo Power's article, the game may include an easier difficulty mode, likely inspired by complaints that the previous game was too hard. It also previews one of the new bosses, who is apparently called "Sheep Man." Make of that what you wool.

I work for a large international engineering corporation, we still use windows 2000. We were supposed to upgrade to XP this Fall, but now it's sometime next year. Why? Because XP was/is breaking a bunch of our applications. Maybe some software development houses want Vista, but who else? I almost wonder if we could sue M$ for phasing out support of older OS's and therefore causing companies to be required to upgrade to the more current OS in order to maintain support(blah blah Anti-trust). This is a huge impact to corporations: the cost of new OS's, the cost of new machines, the cost of getting our programs running on these new OS's, learning curves for personnel, potential document loss due to the transition, etc. These costs add up quickly and could be quite enormous!
