- The FBI assesses these conspiracy theories very likely will emerge, spread, and evolve in the modern information marketplace, occasionally driving both groups and individual extremists to carry out criminal or violent acts.

In the weeks before Halo 2 came out, I remember lots of folks playing leaked versions on hacked Xboxes. Halo 2 and the Live experience was terrorized by the modders that at times ruined the Live/Halo 2 for folks like me. This is Microsoft's make-or-break moment for the entire life-cycle of the 360. If I were in their shoes I would protect it zealously as well. Also, as a subscriber to Live, I actually appreciate that Microsoft has stepped up their protection of the Live experience.
