Journal Otter's Journal: Morning amusement 1
The email at the top of my stack this morning:
There's another guy at this company (at a distant site) with a name similar to mine. At this point, I've learned to recognize the emails that are obviously intended for him. Today's is a reply-to-all from some other guy complaining that the two of us have been added to some distribution list, but he's not the person they want, just someone with a similar name.

On AIM I get errant messages from people in the wrong state as well as some sort of IT-corporate-etc. thing telling me that somebody is waiting for me in the conference room and other stuff like that. The IT ones usually forward to my phone too... and they're sure they have the right person every damn time too.
It's what I get for having a somewhat plain name.
