Journal: Need more Manga and Anime in the world!

Right now, watching .Hack//Roots and I keep thinking, wouldn't it be great if online games were like the .Hack universe? Not that people die or that people go into comas, but that the world is hackable and redefinable? That games are played as open ended with no real goal, other than the goals you set? 2ndLife is alot like that, but comes short, as it leaves the rules way too open. Anyone can fly, there are no classes or structure... it's like smooth pasta noodles... not enough texture for flavour to cling. If MMORPG's were more like .Hack, then we would have a more interesting and fun world. But then again, that's just me. :) Ottadiction
