There is no specifics involved with "Self Driving Car"
Autonomy is defined by SAE and has 5 levels.
Level-4 Vehicles drive without a driver on a predefined route and conditions without fall back to a driver at any time
Level-5 Vehicles never ever need a driver, do not need a steering wheel
So where is Tesla in these definitions ?

Getting a newer iPad sounds meaningless because a 20% faster chip or a 10% brighter screen means nothing. There is a limit of complexity of the apps that I run on the iPad, they don't need faster speed or more DPIs.
