I work at a computer retail store and I asked one of our Techs this question. He did not know so he called a SSD manufacturer and their answer was this. If you are using the computer and the drive fails the screen will just go black, and all will be lost.

In November of 2007 my best friend's wife had her 2nd child. She had recently become a fan of Rock Band. I do not have the picture on my computer but she got the brilliant idea of what to do while breast feeding the child. "Give me the Rock Band guitar, I want to play." And thus her husband has a picture of her playing Rock Band, and breast feeding her child. So its true!
