Original software was not metered (PC-PC) (Score 1)

There was only charges if you used PC to Phone (Innomedia's InnoSphere PSTN gateway service). PC to PC was always free. fobbit of course only allows PC to PC calls. There is no way to use PC to Phone with fobbit, as Innomedia's service (probably) uses some proprietary h323-like protocol. fobbit uses a minimal no-standard protocol. (not to say that this is bad)
