Getting an unemployment check isn't the end of the world either ;-) (Especially here: 80% of your last salary during one year. Too bad I've never been unemployed *grin*)

I can't help you, I'm in no position to hire anyone (I am but a mere small programmer in a big company) Besides, even if I could, you would have to sell the house ;-)

I just got a job at Google. Alas I won't make it to the meetup next week because I'll be up north on vacation. I literally start at Goole the day after I get back. I fly out Sunday night. I'll be commuting back on weekends until we get our lives straightened out.

I have some extra luck so I'm sending it your way. Say hi to everyone at the next meetup and if there's anything I can do to help, let me know. After 15 months I know how much job searches suck!
