Well, considering that sensitive information springs, fully formed, from the heads of specialists in these fields, there's not an issue of "linking" to any previously existing files. As has been pointed out, there are no connections between the classified systems and the internet. It's the original thoughts of brilliant people that are, of themselves, potentially problematic. And careful as they are, sometimes the guidance changes, or a fact is mentioned in proximity with another fact, and bingo, you have a violation. And of course, being a Los Alamos person guarantees that everyone's going to get WAY more hysterical about it than if you're DoD, DoS, or a congressional type.
