This Microsoft bashing has gone on long enough.. (Score 1)

Frankly, it's turning into today's pop music culture for geeks. What I'm seeing here is a bunch of sheep who have been told by their "geek" friends "MICROSOFT IS BAD, CONFORM TO THE NON-STANDARD, MICROSOFT IS BAD" It's stupid. Microsoft might have done some things (and maybe still are) that are nefarious. That doesn't mean they are a bad company. I ask you to name a single company who you KNOW hasn't commited any type of wrong doing whatsoever! You can't! It's not possible. Companies have their problems, microsoft has theirs. You hate microsoft, fine. At least give me a good reason for hating them. And please, the "MONOPOLY!!!!" Plea is getting old, try to find something new. P.S. I'm not a microsoft supporter, but I hate seeing people who really don't know what they're talking about scream out "MICROSOFT BAD" every chance they get. And Microsoft did nothing wrong here.. wanting to get a competitor out of the picture is just business, it's how things work. I'm sure any of you would do the same in this type of situation. Microsoft is (obviously) a good company with some very smart people in it (Or it wouldn't be as it is today) So before you start to yell about how bad microsoft is, picture your favorite little unix distro suddenly becoming the standard on every desktop PC.. and see how they would handle it.. (And the article on /. was hidious. "Microsoft is so evil, look, they got sony kicked out just so they could hog all the gaming glory to their X-Box, evil microsoft!) The better product will come out on top, it's how things work. (Waits for the flames to begin)
