Sorry mate, but that is not how it works in Australia. I do not receive any subsidy for my solar cells and the feed-in tariff is very low ($0.07/kwh compared to the $0.22/kwh to dray power from the grid) the vast majority of government subsidy is paid to the coal miners and coal generators (roughly A$385 million for 2018-19 (https://theconversation.com/matt-canavan-says-australia-doesnt-subsidise-the-fossil-fuel-industry-an-expert-says-it-does-131200#:~:text=The%20questioner%20also%20referred%20to,tune%20of%20A%242.8%20billion.)) But please tell me how my feeding power into the grid at a similar rate to the going wholesale rate for power (https://www.aer.gov.au/wholesale-markets/wholesale-statistics) is costing you money. Go on, I'll wait.
