Complex/dusty plasmas and ionospheric physics here
Kind of a strange co-incidence. I was just eating and watching a P2P'd BBC documentary series "The Planets". The episode was about solar wind and its interaction with the atmosphere. An excellent series, by the way.
Hmmmm... a security clearance at work? Working for the government or for a private contractor?
Pffft. Your desk is tidy, compared to mine! You actually stack your papers relatively neatly and put them in binders, whereas I usually put mine in a big unstructured heap. Besides, one can atually see the colour of your desk between the stacks. Unfortunately, I cannot take a picture of my desk, as private cameras are not allowed here at work:-(

Heh. The papers are still in a binder because I set out to write a new paper today. You can see that the figures are already spread out on the table. That's where the papers will diffuse to after a few days...

How do you control that visitors don't have cameras in their cellphones, for instance?
Ever heard of strip-searches with full body-cavity examination?:-)
OK then, so we don't really do strip-searches. However, this is a place that requires a security clearance, so visitors without a clearance must be followed around, are not allowed to be left alone (except at the toilet), and are not allowed to enter classified areas.
It's HP48S. I bought it in 1992 and it's still in a perfect working condition. Robus

I suppose the main category would be solid state physics at low dimensions, experimental branch.
