Journal October_30th's Journal: Just an ad I saw this morning while biking to work 7
This ad kind of got my attention...
My first thought was that it's getting rather desperate, if a presidential candidate is campaigning for US ex-pat absentee votes in a country the size of Finland, but it wasn't really about the elections after all. Just an advertising company advertising itself.

For some reason those bus-stop ads hardly seem to get defaced at all, but considering GWB's popularity (or the lack of it, to be more precise) over here, I'd give it a few days at most.
Uh. Today it's the leg day at the gym and I promised myself that I'd try one more time to learn how to squat. Maybe the front squat would be easier balancewise and wouldn't hurt the shoulders so much.

I only do dumbbell squats for the time being. We don't have a proper squat rack at my gym, unfortunately. I also do leg presses and a bunch of other stuff for the legs. With all I do, I really don't need to do squats with the barbell (though it wo

Not as such. I should ask a colleague who's a gym veteran and also works out at the same place. It is, however, kind of embarrasing to disturb someone else's workout by asking for an advice - even if you know him.

I checked out the site shown in the ad and it turned out to be a cleverly done ad for an advertisement agency. Basically it said: "See, we got you interested in our site - we know how to advertise".
