Journal October_30th's Journal: Christian Exodus - making of a Christian conservative State 6

Now what's this...

"ChristianExodus.org offers the opportunity to try a strategy not yet employed by Bible-believing Christians. Rather than spend resources in continued efforts to redirect the entire nation, we will redeem States one at a time. Millions of Christian conservatives are geographically spread out and diluted at the national level. Therefore, we must concentrate our numbers in a geographical region with a sovereign government we can influence through the electoral process."

Looks like they've picked South Carolina for implementing the plan. I like how the plan has a detailed "Phase One" but no "Phase two/three/four" - only vague "Additional phases". In fact, it's like a version of the underpants gnomes joke: 1) Move a shitload of Christian conservatives to one State, 2) ???, 3) Establish a Christian rule throughout the country.

    • Heh. I didn't think of that.

On the other hand, I'm not sure they've really thought their plan through. Ok, so in the first phase they concentrate on one State and take it over. Then the plan dictates that a group of them will move on to another State and to a third State after that. Assuming that their total number remains constant, that means that they must be losing votes in the States they've taken over earlier. At the limit (=all States), they've become just as "diluted" as they were in the beginnin

      • Well, I just noticed they have: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof. right at the top of their website, immediately followed by ChristianExodus.org is moving thousands of Christians to South Carolina to reestablish constitutionally limited government founded upon Christian principles....to restore our Godly republic.... They aren't trying to restore the Constituation, they are trying to undermine it, but they just don't seem to get it.
    • I should be outside churches each Sunday handing out fliers for this group; this would also mean fewer of these people in MY state. A win-win all the way around! Plus with everyone else moving to NH (see here [freestateproject.org] for details) I can't wait until the rest of the US is empty!
  • Look at the free state project [freestateproject.org]
