I've emailed Slashdot exactly once in 20 years - it was about a year ago. I had a specific concern about Slashdot. Within a few hours, Logan Abbott emailed me to explain what had happened, and told me they were in the process of fixing it. Sure enough, a few hours later the problem was resolved. It's fashionable to moan about whoever the current owners of Slashdot are, but if you have issues, why not try sending them a (polite) email? It will almost certainly be more effective than grumbling in the comments section.

I don't know ... some people get upset about that sort of thing.
