Comment Bungie just goes about things differently. (Score 1) 2

My roomate and I have had arguments over the storyline of Halo. While many games will develop every character in the game, Halo leaves a kind of empty shell in Master Chief. While his history is explained in the novels, the game doesn't dwell on it too much. While that's creatively a cop-out, it makes it easy for me or anyone to pick up the controller and experience the Halo universe. Adding too much to Master Chief's character can create bias for or against him and in situations where the player might feel one way, Master Chief's reactions could create a game-flow ending contrast. By leaving him an empty shell and never showing any expression, this allows the player's reactions and feelings to drive your experience in the game rather than what the writers think Master Chief would do. They most certainly achieved this 'type' of immersion with Halo ODST and I personally can't wait for Halo Reach.

I have had 3 different machines all running Windows 7. One is a netbook with 3g's of ram, another is a ZOTAC Ion system with 2G's of ram and finally an HP Tablet with 2G's of ram. I have NEVER seen 90% RAM usage and I'm constantly running Eclipse, several browsers, audio streamers, and other applications. Maybe XPNet should be checking their code for problems with their software and not throwing the blame at Windows 7.
