Comment Frontier is HORRIBLE!!!!! (Score 3, Informative) 56

F*** Y** Frontier......this has gotten so ridiculous. Frontier used to have a link to a "ask the president" page, but that seem to have been removed in the last 12 months. i fought them for a very long time, had many heated conversations about the $10 "WIFI Router" charge. I was a Verizon customer, using my own equipment, before Frontier bought the rights in my area. I was good up until i changed my plan, at that point Frontier started charging me for a piece of equipment i never had. After roughly two weeks of arguing with them, and their own techs stating "we can't access the local router" (duh, it's my gear, not yours)....they shipped me their router and told me that i could put it in a closet, but I would still be charged for the WIFI Router, and I will need to return the "WIFI Router" if i ever cancel service. I continued arguing with them for another MONTH!!!!!!! The best offer i got was a credit for 12 months for the "WIFI Router" fee. This ran out in April....i was waiting for this bill to go into effect, to be able to call them and remove the fee........F****** FCC has screwed that up!!!! Ajit Pai needs to be removed from this position. It is so frustrating that they have this sort of power. I will be calling Frontier, even though it's been "extended", to fight to get a credit for 6 more months. I suggest every Frontier customer do this...it is not right. i have a "WIFI router" sitting in a box in my office so they can charge me each month for something i don't use. CALL FRONTIER AND DEMAND THE FEE BE REMOVED!!!!! I don't care they extended the date, it is not needed because of the pandemic, that is just an excuse. CALL FRONTIER AND DEMAND THE FEE BE REMOVED. For those that don't have ANY other option, i'm sorry, but this needs to stop!!!!

In all seriousness, we are going to be reduced to having to get permission to buy music...or have to physically sign an agreement stating that we will only use the music in our cars, and will have to buy the music a second time to listen to it in your house. This just gets worse and worse, next you won't be able to buy music, it will be a $.10/month per song rental fee. I thought fair use was that I could listen to the music that I owned when and where ever I wanted. I see these services as an extension of my own hard drive that i now have access to with any Internet capable device. I guess the idea of "making the customer happy" is lost on the music industry.
