Investors are getting back exactly what they put into it. If they put in 10 BTC, they are getting back 10 BTC. They can then sell for cash at current market rates or keep the crypto. No one put cash into the investment, it was all crypto. There is one "crypto" on that platform, GUSD, which is 1:1 to USD.

I run a no-exit relay. Problem is that several financial institutions and several other web sites will even block IPs that run no-exit relays. And, it seems the company's customer service doesn't even know about it.
I remember when Capital One started blocking. I'd get a generic error message that there was an error with login. I debugged their login, and noticed the login request was returning 404. I call the bank customer service and they have no idea what is going on, and after several escalations they say something is wrong with my internet connection, and tell me to call my ISP and have them refresh my connection. I do this, and get a new IP, then I can login to the bank again for a short while, then I am unable to login again.
Then other web sites I was having issues logging in. After a while I made the connection that it was the TOR no-exit relay I was running. You'd think these login failures would be logged and customer service would be able to tell the customer that this is what is happening. I estimate that I wasted over three hours of my time and customer service's time at three different companies trying to figure out what was going on with failed logins, before I made the connection of what was really happening.
Now I use an automatic proxy switcher and run a Squid proxy on a free tier Google Cloud Compute Instance, and just use the proxy for those sites that block me.

I think that in all levels of autonomy, except maybe level 5, the autonomous system should never override the decision of the controlling human driver. I don't know what level these busses claim to be, but being that there is an operator to monitor and take over, probably level 2. With level 2 the driver is expected to be paying attention to everything and be prepared to take over at any time. With that, the driver is letting the autonomous system operate the vehicle, but any decision the driver makes should override that, including running into things.

Shouldnt collision detection override the operator? The operator shouldnt be allowed to drive the bus into another bus, wall, or any other obstruction.

Tesla seems to think not. As long as the accelerator pedal is depressed by the human driving, it will NOT apply any automatic braking. It will beep loudly and flash messages that you are about to hit something, usually with plenty of time for the driver to react. But, if the driver keeps their foot on the accelerator the car will not attempt stop.

I don't know what level of autonomy these buses claim to have, but Tesla is only level 2. With level 2, the driver is expected to be paying full attention and be prepared to take over all the time, and with that I believe the car should NEVER override a driver's decision on level 2 autonomy. I also think that no level of autonomy should override a driver's decision except maybe level 5.

gifts are not necessarily income, you can give someone up to $10k worth of gifts a year without taxes coming into play

This is for the US. This limit is $15k per person per year now. Then you have to file a gift tax return, if you go over $15k to one person in a year. Then you have a single $11,700,000 lifetime limit of excess over $15k per person per year. If you exhaust that $11.7MM limit, then you can still gift $15k per person per year, but the excess is taxed at a rate between roughly 18%-40%, depending on your tax situation. The receiver never pays taxes on the gifts, except when they make a taxable capital gain on a gift they receive. When you die, your remaining lifetime limit is used to disburse your estate to your heirs federal tax free, unless of course your estate exceeds your remaining lifetime limit.

How do I plan a trip to the 49 state's capitals in the United States, starting and ending at my home? Bing Maps only allows me to enter 23 waypoints between a first and last point. Google Maps also has a similar limitation in waypoints.
