Journal Journal: If the Copycrime bill passws, I will break it so bad...

That's right, Alberto, I am breaking the new bill, that if it becomes law, I will lead you on a police chase :P. But seriousely, that is cruel and unusual punishment! What about taxes and stuff. Like you could catch me (I change my MAC often, poor Gonzales gonna illegalise that TOO?!), I run linux, so your CIPAV wouldn't work either. (As I don't open executable attachments. Wooho You are as corrupt as Bush himself! Stickin' up for "the man."
Spam

Journal Journal: Windows RPC Messenger

Despite the blockage of the infamous Messenger Spam, people are still trying to send it, (as found on my ULOGD log).

It came from SHAW CABLE (a whois verified this: 24.64.122.184) There is no way to block it by IP. The spam method is useless, because XP SP1 blocked it, and windows is in SP2, so I don't think it will get very far.

Television

Journal Journal: Internet TV: I see DRM in the Future!

Juice, an Internet TV System, is probably going to fall down to its knees in DRM, requested by the MPAA's Legal Department. All it takes is a legal threat/DMCA Takedown notice to foil Juice's Plan.

Windows

Journal Journal: Windows Vista DRM

M$ Windows Vi$ta is Micro$oft's Money Maker. Shake it good, because I ain't throuing money at it! It infects the computer with DRM, and "premium content" can only be played with HDCP compliant monitors. This is a Linux Lock-out from HD-DVD, and Blu-Ray discs. The only way I would buy Vista is if somebody put a gun to my head and told be to buy it. I don't like DRM and I never will.
Linux is my favorite OS, even if I can't run certain software, as there is alternatives that will run in Linux. It supports every bit of hardware on my system, and that is hopefully the way it stays.
