Actually in the bible it specifies that as much as possible and as intact as possible of the body has to be buried.
For that reason when there is a suicide attack in israel you see orthodox jews arrive to gather all bits of the victims to ensure compliance to the 'law of god'.
And there are certain christian wings that either used to adhere or still do adhere to that biblical stipulation.
But many christian forgot all about it though.

But even when not religious it's a freaking asshole thing to do and unlawful to boot, and there is the question why they would remove organs and bones and then destroy them, from workers in nuclear facilities.. you do the math.

How many unique ways are there to write a hello world program? And the whole idea of programming is to use code examples, everybody does and is suppose to do that, even the biggest companies, in fact everybody including mayor distributors of SDK's and compilers andsoforth, they also create whole dedicated sites to providing plug-in example code for people to use. That's what programing is, composing the parts into a whole and building on cleverness of the community.

Ah, see here is where such voting systems fails, when people organize (and there are religious groups, christian and otherwise, who do purposefully search comments they feel harm their cause and attack them) they can simply 'mark' someone a troll or whatever nasty title by collectively getting their pals involved.
I say that because whatever you think of my original comment to call it trolling is obviously and clearly nonsense, you might disagree, might think it stupid, but trolling? Obviously not so, especially since I went from 'insightful' then after annoying the anti-atheist guy I'm marked 'troll'.
But that just underscores what's wrong with religion eh, as if it needed underscoring after already being printed in bright bold large letters ;) I'll keep it in mind though when dealing with the religious, thanks for the reminder.

I am familiar with the standard operational campaign and form-statements from the christian corner so I won't bother doing the standard reply, I'm sure you know those by now.
However I obviously believe, believe based on figures and observed trends mind you, that religion has a much stronger foothold on the uneducated and illiterate than on the educated people, and I use 'rational' in my post for a reason, one of which is to basically defuse the predictable US-christian boxed standard response, and although you gave such a response it's nonsensical in regards to my post.
I could say that you argue against education to help boost religion, but in reality you didn't really read or consider my post I'm sure, so to argue about your response would be silly.

Unfortunately the CIA and such do often infiltrate/use (and even set up) such organizations to sneak into areas where they have trouble getting into, that's been documented and admitted on a few occasions. So in that light I cannot blame iran for being distrusting, and I tend to think they are frequently right, like in that case with those US 'hikers' in freaking iraq (what?) who 'accidentally' sneaked into iraq, that was as believable as, well, uhm, the bible or something I suppose, and I don't think any sane person did not raise an eyebrow on that story.

Most bases in germany have been closed now, and they were there for so long to help guard against invasion by the soviets not to suppress the germans or force the US views on them or collect empirical tax, like the romans basically did. That doesn't take away the core of your thoughts though, I'm just correcting that error in an argument used.
And the romans of course introduced a lot of advancements in many areas they conquered, baths, aqueducts, roads, organization, and the US only seem to take care of themselves, so that's not very empire-like in comparison. There's a thought in many americans and politicians that the US is an empire though, and has some special right to push the rest of the world around, but in the US's defense you must say that many other countries encourage that thinking too by acting like it is true and being subservient to the US in the political arena (little joke there to use a familiar roman term 'arena').

Haha, The whole world knows america is morally bankrupt, and that a large part of the stuff NASA did was done using russian rockets for many many years now.
But that doesn't mean I think america should not try though, but perhaps moonmission can be put on the backburner, I don't know, the counterargument is that the moon has certain economical and practical potential rather than only expanding knowledge like probes do, the planned moon stuff was for 'building infrastructure to power the future', something obama likes to push back on earth.

In classical strict christianity it is taught that the body must be buried whole and unmutilated, and for that reason organdonorship is not allowed, and I'm guessing since that is a classical stand it originates in the old testament? and thus is a jewish orthodox view too, right? Although you could argue a loophole that the the organ will later be buried 'properly' after the second users croaks :) I incidentally hear some strict wings of people with such beliefs even want to keep the parts that might get amputated after an accident or something to be later buried with their body.
