um.. anyone ever hear of quakecon...?? (Score 1)

Quakecon has surpassed that amount in the last 2 years. in August 2002, the LAN, not the actual amount of spectators/tourney particpants was totalled at 1300 ports. (people were getting turned away.) Actual amount of people attending the event was some where in the excesses of 3500 people.

largest LAN in North America... pish.. riiiight.
